Dutch rabbits are small to medium in size and they have a compact, well rounded body. Their short, glossy fur is white with one of the following colours; black, blue, chocolate, grey, steel, or tortoise.
The most distinctive feature of the breed is their pattern. They have a white, wedge-shaped blaze on their face, a white saddle that runs around the front of their body, and their rear feet are white.
Dutch rabbits were once the most popular breed to have as a pet, but after dwarf rabbits were developed their popularity dwindled, However, they still remain as one of the top ten most popular breeds of domestic rabbit worldwide.
