Oviparous


American Alligator
An American Alligator is an example of an Oviparous animal.


Oviparous animals are those that reproduce by laying eggs, with little or no embryonic development within the mother.


This is the reproductive method of most fish, amphibians, reptiles, insects, arachnids, all birds and egg-laying mammals.
