Main Characteristics
Brown-Tailed Mongoose have a body length between 25 and 30 cms (9.8 - 11.8 inches) and a tail length between 20 and 25 cms (7.9 - 9.8 inches).
They are mainly brown in colour with dark or pale coloured spots.
Habitat
Brown-Tailed Mongoose can be found in the forests of north eastern Madagascar.
Diet
Brown-Tailed Mongoose mainly feed on insects, but they will also eat frogs, small lizards, rodents and fruit.
