
(December 08, 2009) A new study suggests climate change could be making lobsters supersized.
Due to atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) levels rising, oceans are more acidic and therefore they can produce jumbo-sized shelled marine species including lobsters, crabs and shrimp. It is not known weather the animals body mass also becomes larger or if it is only their shells.
