Alfa-Beet

Alfa-Beet is a low sugar conditioning feed for horses and ponies. The combination of alfalfa and unmolassed sugar beet pulp provides 'slow releasing' energy in the form of highly digestible fibre. It is ideal for horses and ponies that require extra conditioning but without making them over exuberant.

Feeding

Alfa-Beet is easy to use and soaks to a mash much quicker than conventional sugar beet pellets. For soaking, Dengie recommend three parts water to one part Alfa-Beet.

Fed with Hi-Fi Lite, Alfa-Beet is ideal for horses and ponies that require a lower sugar diet, such as those prone to laminitis.
